Sixth grade celebrates Medieval Feast

On Wednesday, May 24, the sixth grade wrapped up their social studies unit with the school's traditional Medieval Feast.

The centerpiece of the feast is the meal. Teachers, staff, and parents volunteer to prepare and serve a feast of soup, chicken legs served on bread, raw vegetables, and apples. The day also showcases students' final projects to build a 3-D model of a castle, to design a coat-of-arms, to build a medieval catapult known as a trebuchet, or to present a themed play. The event is fun and educational.
