Summer swim lessons

Now that school has ended, it's time to think about swimming lessons. Following is the summer schedule:

Instructional Swimming

Session I: July 12 - July 23

• Infant swim: 8:40-9 a.m. or 9:50-10:10 a.m.

• Beginner Class: 9:05-9:45 a.m.

• Intermediate: 10:15-10:55 a.m.

• Advanced: 10:15-10:55 a.m.

Session II: July 26 - August 6

• Infant swim: 8:40-9 a.m. or 9:50-10:10 a.m.

• Beginner Class: 9:05-9:45 a.m.

• Intermediate: 10:15-10:55 a.m.

• Advanced: 10:15-10:55 a.m.

All Canajoharie students learn to swim at the Nellis Pool.

2010 summer pool schedule
(Jul. 1-Aug. 28)

• Monday

  • Adult Free Swim, 7-8:30 p.m. (Must be at least 18 years old)

  • Open Swim, 1-4 p.m. Begins July 12 (Adult must accompany and stay with children 18 and younger.)

• Tuesday

  • Open Swim, 1-4 p.m.  Begins July 12 (Adult must accompany and stay with children 10 and younger.)

• Wednesday

  • Family Swim, 7-8:30 p.m. (Adult must accompany and stay with children 18 and younger.)

• Thursday

  • Adult Free Swim, 7-8:30 p.m. (Must be at least 18 years old)

  • Open Swim, 1-4 p.m.  Begins July 12 (Adult must accompany and stay with children 10 and younger.)

• Friday

  • Open Swim, 1-4 p.m. ( Begins July 12 Adult must accompany and stay with children 10 and younger.)

Outside Organizations:

Outside organizations wanting to use the pool during the school year may do so on Friday evening and weekends. Interested groups must contact Kevin Stuttle to obtain request forms.
