Drama Club to present “The King and I” March 24-26

The Fort Plain-Canajoharie Drama Club will present "The King & I" on Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25 at 7 p.m. A Sunday matinee is planned for March 26 at 2 p.m. All performances will be at the Arkell Performing Arts Center at Canajoharie High School. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and students. (read more)

Canajoharie school bus vote passes

Voters in the Canajoharie Central School District approved the annual bus lease referendum with 69 voting yes and 6 voting no. (Read more)

Canajoharie student musicians perform with Philadelphia Orchestra member

Philadelphia Orchestra cellist Bob Cafaro visited Canajoharie March 13 performing for and speaking with elementary and middle school students about music, his career path and education. Canajoharie High School Alumni Hall of Fame nominations due April 14

The Canajoharie High School Alumni Hall of Fame is seeking nominees for its 2017 induction. Nominees must be graduates of Canajoharie High School. The applications deadline has been extended to Friday, April 14. (read more and download application form)

Canajoharie teams successful at regional Odyssey of the Mind tournament

All six Canajoharie Odyssey of the Mind teams had a successful day at the OM Region 21 Tournament held in East Hill School on March 11. Each team placed in the top four of their division and problem. Now three Canajoharie teams will go on to compete at the state tournament in Binghamton in April. (read more and see photos)

Just before winter break and before the unseasonably warm weather set in, students at Canajoharie's East Hill Elementary School enjoyed the outdoors sledding during physical education classes. (see photos)

Canajoharie schools in session April 19-21

Due to the use of an extra snow day on Feb. 9, and March 14 and 15, Canajoharie schools will be in session on Wednesday, April 19, Thursday, April 20 and Friday, April 21. (Read more)
