The Classes of 2012, 2013, and 2014 took their next steps toward graduation during the Middle School's Moving Up ceremonies on Wednesday, June 25 in the Arkell Performing Arts Center.

Middle School principal Tom Sincavage helped oversee a lengthy list of awards recognizing the academic, athletic, and community efforts of each of the classes.

Mr. Sincavage and Mrs. WhiteMr. Sincavage presented the Award of Gratitude for exemplary service to the Middle School to Mrs. Lea White.

Superintendent Richard Rose reminded the students that they had demonstrated their potential and that the school would expect them to continue to meet that standard in the future. He told them that high school was filled with windows of opportunity open to ever student. Dr. Bowden takes the podiumHigh School Principal Dr. Donald L. Bowden told a brief story about discovering the opportunities that lay ahead. Mackenzie Stahler, National Junior Honor Society President, encouraged all of her classmates to continued success.

The moment then came for the eighth grade to stand and to leave middle school behind and move-up to high school. In a similar fashion, 7th graders became the next class of eighth graders and sixth graders became seventh graders.
