Farewell to the Class of 2013

The Middle School said goodbye and good luck to the Class of 2013 during Moving Up ceremonies on Wednesday, June 24 in the Arkell Performing Arts Center. The annual celebration recognizes each middle school class as it progresses along in its education.

Melissa Bowley and David Parkinson welcomed the classes, friends and family. Several staff and faculty presented a range of special academic, athletic, and community awards. District Superintendent Richard Rose and Middle School Principal Thomas Sincavage offered their advice to the eighth grade students in preparation for high school. High School Principal Dr. Donald L. Bowden welcomed the class for the 21st time in his career. Nick Sitterly closed the formalities with a final address. Then it was off to the high school cafeteria for punch and cookies.
